Our bodies, or better said, our old sinful nature, crave unhealthy things as well. We're tempted by the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes and the boastful pride of life. At times, we may even allow ourselves to believe these sources of temptation will satisfy the cravings of our hearts, but in time, we come to realize that the temptations of this world make empty promises that leave us worse off than we were before giving in to them.

But in Christ, we have a better option. He invites us to walk, or live, by His Spirit. When we're walking by the Spirit, we're welcoming His presence and influence. We're honoring His holiness and valuing what He's revealed in the Scriptures and listening to His prodding within our conscience.
